Who the Son sets free is free indeed! So why is it that so many of us are captive to a religious facade? Why do we put so much effort into futile attempts to demonstrate our worth to others? Why do we pose and posture before the One True God? Why do we hide away on tiny islands where we remain shipwrecked and stranded?
It's time that we leave the places of isolation. It's time that we give up continuous self examination. It's time that we lay all of our futile efforts at the foot of Christ's cross. Discover the community you always longed for. Discover the God who loves us as we are and not as we should be. Will you keep staring in your distorted mirror of self examination, or will you give up self definition for your true Christ given identity?
In Short: Trials can reveal the reality of your faith in God.
Verse: "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is." —1 Corinthians 3:13
