Bradley Cooper stars in this psychological thriller about a writer who is introduced to a new drug which dramatically increases his intelligence. As he takes this pill he tries to improve his life for the better, but at the same time some challenging trials come about in the process. I had to look at this movie and see how Bradley Cooper's character would be like before and after he takes the pill, as well as how the movie responds to this unique idea. I give much of this a thumbs down, mainly because of how selfish Bradley Cooper's character is and how the movie promotes his behavior as being mostly ok.
