DEPENDENCY PT.3

SUBJECT: DEPENDENCY
SCRIPTURE: JOHN 16: 4-7
SERMON: PASTOR MARK D. INGRAM

DEPENDENCY IS A #1 RELIANCE UPON,#2 OBSESSION WITH #3 ABUSE OF THE OBJECT WE RELY UPON.

DO WE HAVE A PHYSICAL DEPENDENCY ON SOMEONE OR SPIRITUALLY DEPEND ON GOD?

PT.1- OUR SPIRITUAL MATURITY HAS TO BE A PRIORITY.
[DON'T LET THE SHEEP DEPEND SO HIGHLY, SHEEP DON'T DEPEND SO HIGHLY.] EXODUS 18
PT.2- GOD WILL ALLOW OUR LIVES TO BE SHAKEN FOR US TO DEPEND ON HIM. ACTS 17:28 (JOB,JESUS,JOSEPH) SHAKEN
PT.3- ONLY HOLY SPIRIT CAN ACCOMPLISH WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IN OUR LIVES FOR GOD'S GLORY.
ARE WE WILLING TO STEP ASIDE PHYSICALLY TO LET THE SPIRITUAL DEPENDENCY ON GOD?

IDENTIFY MY CROSSES PT.3

PASTOR MARK .D. INGRAM OF WORDS OF LIFE GIVE US SOME TIPS ON HOW WE AS CHRISTIANS CAN IDENTIFY THE CROSSES IN OUR LIVES.
POINT 1- WHO OR WHAT ARE MY CROSSES?

A CROSS IS ANY DISTRACTION THAT KEEPS ME FROM GIVING MY ALL TO CHRIST.A CROSS WEIGHS US DOWN.(MENTALLY EXHAUSTED )
DON'T GIVE IN OR UP ENDURE THE CROSS WITH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
THERE IS SIN WHICH DIFFERENT FROM A CROSS.

POINT 2 UNDERSTAND THAT THE FLESH IS ALWAYS THERE BECAUSE OF THE SKIN WE ARE IN.
FLESH IS ALWAYS WITH YOU EVERYWHERE YOU GO.

POINT 3 - WE MUST TO JESUS FOR ENDURANCE.
GET UP AND GET IN THE WORD ON YOUR KNEES.

John 6: A Response to James White on the Real Presence

There have been many Protestant attempts to turn John 6 into nothing but allegory, even though Jesus is clear in His teaching that we must eat His body and blood, and even defends this teaching strongly. James White has his own detailed go at the chapter, and in some ways comes up with a unique method to claim it as allegory. Here I respond to his interpretation and point out why it goes wrong.

This video is a point-by-point summary of my longer response by the way. I’ve put a link to the actual 30-page response below.

I am a follower of James’ work, by the way. Although I find he makes the same mistake as almost all Protestants in John 6, I appreciate all the Lord accomplishes through him in his ministry.

You can find this article at the bottom of the Real Presence page at my holiness and reform website: https://www.holinessofthebride.com
