What is needed is not a new message for a new age, but the age old message of the cross. The times may have introduced new things, but man, at his core, is the same. What has plagued man for centuries is still the same and the remedy has never changed.

Salvation, then, is offered "freely". But does that mean it costs nothing? Not at all! It cost Jesus everything! Jesus humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
