You know how sometimes you're just scrolling… and then stumble into something that makes the world pause a beat? That happened to me this week, and I have to share it with you. Watch this beautiful video of a Bob Dylan classic, ‘Blowin' In The Wind,’ as the PS22 Chorus gives it a touching revival.
It was a simple video. A group of kids, all wearing matching blue t-shirts, are sitting in rows in a school auditorium. They were there because they love to sing. They love music and how it changes our emotions, attitudes, and hearts. When their instructor told them they were getting ready to sing this song, there was excitement and a lot of clapping; they couldn’t wait!
The PS22 Chorus—have you heard of them? In case you didn’t know, they are a bunch of wide-eyed fifth graders from Staten Island, gathered not for show but for the love of music. And when they opened their mouths and started singing…friend, it just about undid me.
You could feel it. That still, holy hush before the first lyric. And the joy these bouncy, happy kids could barely contain! Then this happiness—soft and strong—lifted the room in harmony.
I watched their sweet faces light up over each line. Their eyes were wide with wonder, like they knew what they were singing mattered. Maybe they couldn’t explain it, but somewhere deep in their growing hearts, they felt it: these words have weight. Maybe that’s why we all love this classic song so much.
And there it was—these kids took a dusty classic from decades ago and breathed something holy into it. It was breathtaking to watch, and others online who follow this crew loved it, too.
One commenter said, “The answer is here, in that room.”
Yes. That.
That room full of kids reminded me where the answers are.
In innocence. In music. In life. Children who don’t overthink words just sing them.
Another person wrote, “Children, you made the day. As I watched while having my coffee and breakfast, my heart was bubbling over with gratitude and love for you and your teachers.”
Same here. I felt the same slow bubbling of something sacred. Something like joy. Something like peace.
Something like—maybe the world isn’t as dark as it feels.
So if you’ve got a minute, I hope you do—watch the video.
Let their voices lift you. Let the lyrics remind you. Let your soul settle into that quiet, warm place where hope still sings and the wind still carries answers, even when life’s questions feel too heavy.
Maybe today, you just need to be reminded that sometimes God whispers through children. Sometimes, truth comes with a melody. And sometimes the sweetest hallelujahs rise from a school auditorium in Staten Island. Isn’t it just like God to wrap glory in something so simple? A few kids. A good song. And a whisper of hope that’s been blowing in the wind all along.

Watch it. Feel it. Let it carry you.
