Ozzy grew up in The Congo Africa. His father died when he was a child his mother was left uneducated with 8 children and little hope of earning an income.
Ozzy was then sponsored through Compassion. He shared his sponsorship with his brother Mike and friend Kosto who are also members of The Sowers Group. They shared the uniform, separated books into individual papers and took turns going to school.

At their concert in 2006, First Call brought their portion of the evening to a close by joining Bonnie's son, Graham, and Dick & Mel's daughters, Whitney and Kelsey, along with Marty McCall, in leading the crowd in worship. What a beautiful experience!

There was a special treat for those in attendance at First Call's concert in 2006 - a song sung by their kids! Mel's daughters, Whitney and Kelsey, and Bonnie's son, Graham, sang as a trio - much like their parents' group! Bonnie has a daughter and Marty has 2 sons who were not present. But it was clear that the talent in these singers have been passed on to the next generation!
