Danny Gokey Asks for Prayer After Possible Broken Nose

Every vocalist will tell you - you need throat, nose, ears, larynx, and lungs in perfect working order to effectively perform. If one of these parts of the body is compromised, so is the ability to sing.
That's why this prayer request from former American Idol Danny Gokey is so serious. While on tour, Gokey was unwinding by playing basketball. An unexpected shoulder guard hit the singer in the nose, possibly breaking it.
With gauze rolled in each nostril, Gokey wasted no time taking to social media asking fans to pray for him.
"If you have a moment please say a prayer for me. That this heals quickly and that it doesn’t affect my singing and touring. Those are things I love to do. 🫶🏼🙏🏼"
