The Poor Tithe is reviewed followed by a look at Jacob's promise or vow. George proves that Jacob's vow was only a 'fine sounding religious act" where Jacob the trickster was just trying to impress God. Little time is spent on Malachi's reminder to the Levite priests simply because - just like other prophets that have some things they said recorded in the Bible - George proves that God did not have the prophet Malachi talking to you and I !! George reviews the context of Jesus' comment about tithing in the list of "Woe to you ...." to the Pharisees. The mention of tithes in Hebrews is reviewed before reminding viewers that we are free from the law handed down through Moses and we need to forgive those who taught us that we must tithe.

Many New Testament verses are quoted that prove that Christians are free from the Mosaic law that required tithing from certain Israelites. The multiple tithes are reviewed starting with the tithe from the land and from herded animals. George proves that the tithe from the land was only 6 years out of the 7 year cycle. Herders that raised 9 or less animals were NOT required to tithe. Next George reviews the Levites' 'tithe of the tithe' followed by his review of the Festival Tithe that required Israelites to travel 3 times a year and joyfully eat their tithe in the presence of the Lord.

George proves that "tithing" was never required of Christians. Starting with an overview of the Bible definition of tithing, George proves that Abram's tithe is NOT the example we are to follow. Abram gave away "other folks' money" and didn't keep anything for himself. The Bible definition of tithing is compared briefly with the popular definition. An overview of the Old Testament or Mosaic law is started. Of the approximately 612 laws contained in the first 5 books of the Bible, George proves that there is no requirement for Believers just to keep the laws that required the Old Testament Israelites to pay something.
