Any and every medical professional will stress the importance of sleep. It doesn’t matter what field of medicine they may specialize in; they will all tell their patients that getting plenty of sleep is crucial. Honestly, if you had a doctor who did not harp on how vital sleep is to getting and then staying healthy, you might want to look elsewhere for medical advice.

Even if those doctors and nurses did not mention how much we need sleep, I think we’d still be able to figure it out. We all know how much we need sleep. I mean, think how much better you feel after getting a good night’s sleep when compared to an evening and early morning in which you did nothing but toss and turn. You will, of course, feel much, much better after getting your eight hours compared to when you don’t.

But if you aren’t getting enough sleep, our bodies have a way of getting that much-needed rest. A clip posted on YouTube shows one young man, while working on the farm, trying to fight off sleep.

Hilariously, it’s clear that he does not want to give in and let sleep win. He is doing everything he can to stay away, but it’s very apparent who is winning when it comes to this fight. When most people would have thrown in the towel and let sleep win, he continued to fight, doing what he could to stay awake.

I’m guessing that soon after this short clip ended, he promptly fell asleep.

This tiny toddler has a big personality, and it’s adorable. She had a lot to say.  Then, when her father didn't understand her, it was clear she wasn't happy that her message wasn’t getting through. Parents would not trade a moment with their children for anything in the world. Children are only little for a very short amount of time. One minute, they are reaching for your hand as they prepare to cross the road, and the next, they are backing out of the driveway, on their way to college to start a life of their own. Every parent has been there, and if you haven’t yet, be prepared, because it’s coming and it will be heartbreaking.

However, before those kids take off and leave the nest, there will be plenty of opportunities to create memories. Also, there are likely to be plenty of laughs, as children are incredibly funny, even when they are not even trying. Of course, that just makes it even funnier.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a little one has a lot to tell her father. The little girl knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to say it. However, the only problem is that she hasn’t quite mastered forming and saying actual words.

Instead, what she says comes out as basically a mumbled and jumbled mess, and no one can really understand what she’s attempting to say. Despite her inability to say words, her looks and actions make it clear that she is entirely serious about what she’s trying to get across, and you’d better understand it or you, too, will get quite the look from her.

While the entire clip is a laugh riot, without question, the best part of the short video is when she first begins to walk away and suddenly gives a look that says she means business.

Americans absolutely love competition, of any and every kind. It doesn’t matter what it is, either. If there’s an activity involving two opposing teams, it will eventually find a loud, obsessed audience who are more than willing to cover themselves in their favorite team’s colors. Soon enough, they’ll inevitably begin organizing their entire day and lives around their favorite team’s schedule.

America’s love affair extends to any and every sport, and level of competition – high school, collegiate and professional. It doesn’t matter what it is, Americans will watch it. Heck, there are people who willingly play and even watch golf. I’m not entirely sure how this is possible, but those individuals do, surprisingly, exist. Personally, I find golf to be one of the most boring things in the world. Watching paint dry sounds like a much more exciting and thrilling activity, but to each their own, right?

In a clip posted on YouTube, a father is teaching his young son the game of golf. He’s showing the little guy how to swing and strike the golf ball before him. Shockingly, the tiny golfer, with one firm swing, albeit with his father’s assistance, connects with the ball, sending it toward the wall.

However, the golf ball is not the only thing the small aspiring golfer strikes. After the father retrieves the ball, he’s making his way back to his son, and that’s when the child swings the club upward, hitting his father square in the forehead. Viewers can even hear the plastic making contact with his skull.

That injury seems like it’s entirely on the father. Who gives a golf club, even a child’s version, and does not expect them to swing it wildly?

Is there anything better than being a parent? Watching those youngsters learn, grow and explore a whole new world is an experience unlike any other. There isn’t a mother or a father who would trade time with their children for anything in the world. Those moments, and the memories created, are priceless and will be treasured and cherished for years to come.

As all children tend to do, they grow. While parents would rather their children stay little, that doesn’t happen too often. In what feels like the blink of an eye, that infant you brought home from the hospital is pulling out of the driveway, heading to college to start a life of their own. But along the way, as those children grow and learn, they will do and say things that will likely cause you to burst into laughter.

Is there anything better than being a parent? Yes, I understand that children can be tiring and, in many instances, push you to the brink of your sanity. Despite all of that – the tantrums, the instances of willful disobedience and the incessant crying and endless wailing – no mother or father would trade being a parent for anything in the world.

There is nothing like raising a human being. Parents get an up-close and personal look as someone grows, learns about, and experiences what is, to them, literally a whole new world. No other role on Earth affords someone that type of unique, moving, and powerful experience. Being a parent is certainly a privilege and a blessing, arguably the biggest anyone can experience on Earth.

In addition to all the crying and screaming and diaper changes, children will also do things that will cause you to literally laugh out loud. Often, the youngsters are inadvertently funny and have absolutely no idea why you have suddenly burst into an uncontrollable bout of laughter. A clip posted on YouTube captured one of these special instances, in which the little one did something so incredibly unexpected and unusual that the people behind the camera couldn't contain their laughter.  

As the video shows, the child was enjoying a nice, big slice of pizza. The little one was obviously having a good time, enjoying the meal, when, apparently, the child thought the pizza would make a great hat.

I mean, who hasn’t been there, right? Pizza tastes incredible, so it must look good sitting on top of the head. Although, I’m unsure if pizza atop the head will become a trend. We will just have to wait and find out – only time will tell.

This photo op took a hilarious and unexpected turn. The youngster apparently did not want his photo taken at that moment and made his mother very clearly aware of how he felt about the situation. Thanks to technological advancements, cameras are everywhere and on everything. Technology is constantly advancing, and it has reached the point where everyone has a camera, most of the time in the palm of their hand. Because of this, everyone believes themselves to be a photographer, even if they don’t know the first thing about taking a decent, well-composed and light photo.

Now, add everyone’s obsession with taking photographs to the pervasive nature of social media, and people are constantly taking photos of this, that and everything in between. Honestly, it has become a little much. Not every moment needs to be captured. Despite popular opinion, our entire lives do need to be documented in photos and videos, and then posted on social media, where people quickly scroll by them without ever giving those pictures and videos a second thought.

A posted clip showed a young man who apparently was over the whole picture thing and let his mother know how he felt. This little guy’s mother tried to take one picture too many, and instead of posing for the photo, he took matters into his own hands, literally.

In the video, the little guy, covered in mud, holds a hose. Instead of letting the young man play with the hose and letting him clean himself off, his mother tried to document the moment with a photo.

Why did she want to do this? Your guess is as good as mine. But instead of doing as his mother said, the child turned the hose on his mother, putting a stop to the photo opportunity.

The "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" piano cover is jazzy and upbeat. It’s no wonder the toddler loves it. As an adult, I do, too. Passersby can’t help but crack a smile as they hear the song and see the toddler dance her heart out. 

The man who plays for the little girl in the middle of the busy mall, the infamous Brendan Kavanagh, AKA Dr. K, is a musical magician. You will never hear another "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" piano cover quite like this one, for sure. You can’t help but smile as you watch and listen to this video.

“Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” Started as a Poem 

“Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” has been popular since its publication as a poem in 1806. It was written by a woman named Jane Taylor, who also wrote many other rhymes in a collection with that poem. The melody for “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” (and “Baa, Baa, Black Sheep”) is actually copied from a 1761 French song, “Ah! vous dirai-je, maman” (‘Oh! Shall I tell you, Mama’). 

There are several more paragraphs in the poem that most who are familiar with the song do not know. One of them is: 

Then the trav’ller in the dark,
Thanks you for your tiny spark,
He could not see which way to go,
If you did not twinkle so.

It is a very cute little song with a catchy tune, easy to sing and remember. It’s no wonder that it’s lasted more than 200 years in British and American culture. 

It’s wonderful that the pianist and the toddler got to share a special moment as they jammed to the classic nursery rhyme.

This little guy won’t let anything happen to his grandmother. When he thought he saw something suspicious, he raced right over and came to her defense. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear what the young man said that will have you rolling with laughter.

Naturally, most children, especially when they are little, bond best with and become closest to their mother. That doesn’t mean children completely ignore their fathers, but the relationship between a child and their mother is special. All parents know and understand this to be true. This deep bond between a mother and her children makes complete and total sense.

Now, depending on several factors, children also tend to become close to their grandparents. Grandparents know this full well, too, and every one of them absolutely loves it. Grandma and grandpa can be fun, giving in to their grandchild’s every desire and showering them with love and affection. What child wouldn’t enjoy that and want to be around someone who treats them with nothing but love and kindness as much as possible?

When developing such deep bonds with someone, we tend to become fiercely protective of them. We are determined to do everything in our power to keep harm from befalling them. In a clip posted on social media, a young man did what he could to keep his grandmother when he believed she was potentially in danger, about to become the victim of a scam.

The video starts with a young man racing over on a scooter when he spots someone he doesn’t recognize at his grandmother’s house. He came over to investigate and quickly issued a hilarious threat.

“I said, you can sell that to me, but I’ll sell you a punch in the gut,” the child said to the man behind the camera.

After a quick back and forth, the man and viewers learn why the child threatened violence.

“’Cause you’re trying to mess with my granny,” the young man said.

As it turned out, the little guy’s granny was not in any danger; they were taking care of her bug problem. While this was the reason given for their presence, it’s clear that the boy wasn’t entirely convinced.

2 Thessalonians 3:3 “But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.”

A playground ride left a youngster a little dizzy. The little girl enjoyed a ride on some playground equipment but had some trouble standing upright afterward. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see how much trouble she encountered while walking after the ride.

The playground is a place where many children spend a fair amount of time, and why not? There are many reasons why a rambunctious, energetic child would have a great time on a playground. There are the monkey bars, slides and everyone’s favorite: the swings. What wouldn’t be fun about all of that?

In addition to the monkey bars, slides and swings, there is still one important, classic and beloved piece of playground equipment we haven’t mentioned yet. Of course, I’m talking about the merry-go-round. The merry-go-round is, arguably, the most divisive and polarizing of all playground equipment. Why? Well, given how many children are sure to jump on while it’s in motion, it’s likely the cause of most playground injuries. Also, it makes nearly every rider incredibly dizzy.

A young woman learned this firsthand, as shown in a posted clip. While what she rode wasn’t a merry-go-round, it still moved like one, going circular at a surprisingly high rate of speed.

In the video, after what appears to be a very short ride on playground equipment reminiscent of a merry-go-round, the child has a terrible time staying. She tries and tries to stay up, but only does so with the help of her father, who catches her every time she starts to fall toward the ground.

Hilariously, even with her father giving her a much-needed helping hand, you still believe that she is going to fall. The woman behind the camera gets quite a kick out of the little girl struggling to stay upright, as she laughs hysterically throughout the short clip.

Ephesians 6:4 “And, you fathers, do not make your children angry: but give them training in the teaching and fear of the Lord.”

She says one thing, but her face tells the real story. The youngster tried to conceal this from coming out, but her attempt to hide her secret wasn’t exactly the greatest. Honesty is always the best policy, and it doesn’t matter the situation or circumstances. That’s one of the many phrases that we’ve heard over and over again. It’s short, simple and concise advice that everyone should do their best to follow. God obviously despises a liar, as evidenced by its inclusion in the 10 Commandments.

However, just because being honest is simple, that doesn’t mean it’s always easy. That is especially true when the truth might not paint us in the best light. Often, the truth will cost us something and result in consequences, and those consequences can be painful.  Despite what it may cost us or hurt us, lying is a practice that we should avoid and stay far, far away from. Once you’re branded a liar, that’s a difficult stain to remove.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a little girl is asked about makeup, whether she got into it, and whether she used any. She was adamant that she did not use any of the makeup in question. The child claimed that she was being truthful, but despite her stating that, something tells me, and everyone else who looks at her, that she might not be telling the truth.

When asked if she put on the makeup, she had a question before answering.

“Is it Ok if I did?” the child asked.

She wanted to know what the cost would be and how it would hurt her if she had possibly gotten into the makeup. When she learned that she was going to get into trouble if she had used makeup, she then gave her answer.

She answered that she didn’t use makeup, despite it being all over her face.

These kids surprised their mom in the sweetest way possible. The cute and adorable trio had a big gift for their mother and couldn’t wait to unveil it. Watch the short but heartwarming clip for the big reveal and hear how their mother reacted to the surprise.

Raising a child is, without a doubt, one of the toughest, most challenging things that anyone can undertake. In fact, many would argue, and I believe rightly so, that it is the hardest thing a human being can do. Really stop and think for a second about all the obligations and responsibilities that come with being a parent, and you’ll quickly become overwhelmed.

Oh, also, as every parent knows, there are many instances in which those children will get on your nerves and drive you to the edge of your sanity. Somehow, they all instinctively know what buttons to push as they test boundaries and see how much you’ll let them get away with before putting your foot down. See, doesn’t parenting sound great?

Despite all of that, there are special, tear-jerking moments that make it all worth it – times that you will cherish and treasure forever. A clip posted on YouTube shows one of those moments a mother will hold onto and remember for quite some time.

In the video, three youngsters state they have a massive surprise for their mother that they do not want ruined. They want to unveil it to her at just the right moment, and seconds into the video, that moment has finally arrived. The three little ones have gone through the house and cleaned it for her. They even lead her through the house, room by room, and show her all of their work.

Understandably, Mom is incredibly touched and blown away by their sweet and loving efforts. The children aren’t going to have a way to buy her anything, so they did the best they could.

Do you enjoy surprises? I’m guessing that when considering that question, and then ultimately deciding on an answer, there is a big stipulation attached. Most people are likely to respond affirmatively, saying that, yes, surprises are great and welcome when they are good. However, when those surprises are bad or really anything less than spectacular, we’d rather not have them at all.

That kind of thinking makes perfect sense, right? But the only problem is that if we know what the surprise is, it’s not really much of a surprise, is it? So, that’s why it’s a good idea to be able to roll with things, simply go with whatever happens, because most of the time we aren’t going to have any control.  

Sure, it might appear and even feel like we know what’s coming, but we’re really just kidding ourselves. Life, a lot of times, is one big surprise. We can never be quite sure what is coming next. A clip posted on YouTube shows a handful of youngsters who, given by their reactions, had no idea what was about to happen.

Some of the kids had big, audible reactions, causing some of their eyes to widen in surprise and amazement. Others, while still surprised by what came out of the box, had a much milder and more subdued response.

Honestly, I can’t really blame any of the little ones for their hilarious and adorable reactions to the surprise that literally jumped out at them. I certainly wouldn’t be really thrilled if a creepy clown were to jump out at me, and I’m guessing many others would express a similar feeling.

Time is something that no one can stop. With every passing moment, time is constantly marching forward, despite what many beauty products and procedures promise. We all get older and there is nothing that can be done to pause or reverse time.

While aging is a natural process that happens to everyone, children, who are first learning about the passage of time, might ask some annoying and irritating questions. Most of them simply cannot comprehend a world before they were born. As parents know, their children often come to them with questions about life before their existence.

While all children will say and ask things that make their parents feel old, intentionally or unintentionally, one young man had a particularly hilarious question for his mother. Not only did he want to know what life was like when she was a little girl, but he also wanted to know whether she would tell him what it was like to live in this specific time. Needless to say, she didn’t so much appreciate her son’s inquiry.

“When you were 10 years old, were you in the Colonial times?” the child asked his mother.

“No, I was born in 1984,” she said. “So, it was 1994 when I was 10 years old. We had cell phones. How old do you think I am?”

She went on to say that he was “very wrong” for thinking she grew up during the Colonial period. However, he had one more question, believing she might still have caught the tail end of that period.

“Well, when you were one,” he says.

“What?” she responds.

“Were you in the Colonial times?” he asks.

2 Peter 3:8 “But, my loved ones, keep in mind this one thing, that with the Lord one day is the same as a thousand years, and a thousand years are no more than one day.”

This little boy’s dramatic reaction to a procedure is too funny. He could not believe what had just happened to him and was in a world of pain. Going to the doctor will always and forever be a scary outing. Is there someone, anyone, who actually looks forward to doctor’s visits? I can’t imagine that is ever the case. In fact, there will never be a time when someone is excitedly preparing to head to the doctor’s office to see the doctor, the nurses and the other medical professionals.

Of course, we all know why we strongly dislike those annual check-ups and going to the doctor’s office in general. The thought that they may find or possibly come across something troubling is beyond worrisome. Also, no one is a fan of pain, and medical professionals tend to poke and prod and stab. That can hurt, and if we can avoid experiencing pain, we’re going to take that route.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a little guy really did not appreciate the medical procedure he had recently undergone. While most may have considered it simple and run-of-the-mill, it was anything but to him. Although some could argue that he may have overreacted just a tad. Either way, you’ll get quite the laugh from how he reacts and what he has to say about what just happened to him.

“They shot me!” the young man states as he holds up his hand with a bandaged finger.

“They shot me, and my blood come out!” he added.

So, what actually happened to him? Well, the woman behind the camera states that his finger was pricked, and that was it. Again, the little guy may have overacted a little. But when you’re that age, any kind of pain is thought to be life-threatening.

Her feelings toward the creature changed in a matter of seconds. The young woman felt one way about the amphibian, then quickly found herself singing a very different tune. Most people are big fans of animals, like downright adore those cute, furry and four-legged beings. Even if someone wouldn’t necessarily consider themselves a cat or a dog person, odds are that they still have a soft spot in their heart for them. How could anyone dislike dogs, cats, bunnies and every other cute animal?

Well, that’s where the agreement stops. When it comes to frogs, snakes, iguanas, salamanders and other similar creatures, opinions start to diverge, and things become much more polarized. Some people really love, adore and appreciate those critters. At the same time, there are people who would run screaming in the other direction if a snake ever crossed their path (me).

Well, not only does she exhibit these diametrically opposed thoughts and feelings, but she also does it in a matter of seconds.

In the opening seconds of the video, the little girl, who is sporting a chef’s hat, has a frog placed in her hands. Once she holds the amphibian, she comments on its cuteness. Seconds later, all of that fondness and adoration go out of the window. She mentions that she is “so scared of him.”

She begins screaming and demands that the frog be put back “in his home.” It’s unclear what happened to cause such an immediate and drastic change in how she feels about the frog, but something must have happened, right?

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

We all want things as quickly as possible, and if we have to wait at all, well, then it’s already been too long. In the video, a little girl is in an elevator, standing forward, facing the doors. It’s clear that she is ready to get out of the elevator, because she’s got places to be and things to do.

But she is not content with waiting for the elevator to open for her. No, in fact, she cannot wait and hilariously commands the elevator to open so that she can leave.

“Door, open please,” the child says, while pointing at the elevator doors.

However, it appears that the elevators have disobeyed her. They refuse to open and let her exit. So, she tries it again, and what happens will have you laughing long after this clip ends.

“Do you hear me?” she asks.

After she questions the elevator, the doors open.

“Thank you,” she says as she exits the elevator.

Not everyone can be a farmer. Don’t believe me? Well, just ask these kids, and they will tell you. Watch the short, but hilarious clip to hear why these two youngsters say the farming profession isn't for everyone.

Farming and working the land are among the most important jobs. How could it not be? Have you ever stopped to think about how critical the farmer and their work are? If not for the farmer and their yield, civilization would come to an end. It’s rather difficult to survive without food.

However, while farming is of the utmost importance, it’s not a profession that someone simply wakes up one morning and decides that they are going to be a farmer. They don’t just head outside and begin planting hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of seeds and crops. Farming requires a particular kind of knowledge and skills. A farmer, through years of experience, understands when to plant, water, when to go easy on the water and when to harvest. Can these skills and know-how be acquired over time? Sure, of course.

But the question still remains: Are there people who are more suited to be farmers? On the flipside, are there individuals who, regardless of how much time and effort they put in, will never be farmers? In a clip posted on YouTube, two young siblings believe that farming is not something everyone can do. They seem to think that some individuals are just natural farmers, while others are just not.

The boys’ mother asked them whether, if she were to quit her job and head out into the field, would she be able to be a farmer. Hilariously enough, they were completely honest with her, telling her they didn’t think she had what it takes.

“I don’t think that would work out well,” the older boy said. “You got to be a special person to know how to drive a tractor.”

The little one was of the same mind, believing that his mother was not suited for the full-time farmer life.

James 5:7 “Go on waiting calmly, my brothers, till the coming of the Lord, like the farmer waiting for the good fruit of the earth till the early and late rains have come.”

This might be the cutest (and funniest) traffic stop ever. You will have a difficult time catching your breath because you’ll be laughing so hard at the unexpected move from one of the two suspects. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see what happened when an officer attempted to pull over a vehicle.

Driving, as you’ve no doubt heard many times before, is a privilege and not a right. Our Founding Fathers failed to include the right to operate a motor vehicle in the Bill of Rights when creating the country. That oversight on their part may have had something to do with the car not yet having been invented. You can’t get them all right.

Regardless, driving, while not a right, is still a form of freedom. Is there anything better than cruising down the open road with the windows down as the wind whips through your hair? You can go here, there, basically anywhere your heart desires and your wallet can afford. That is, until you see, in your rearview mirror, the image that makes every driver’s stomach instantly sink: those red and blue flashing lights. You’re being pulled over and will most certainly receive a ticket.

Those interactions are never enjoyable and can actually be quite expensive. However, a clip posted on YouTube shows they can also be rather hysterical, laugh-out-loud funny, even.

In the video, two young men are in their miniature, plastic, battery-powered Jeep. They are out enjoying the open road when things quickly take a turn for the worse. A police officer, with their lights on, pulls up behind the vehicle. This is not good, but as any good motorist would, the vehicle pulls over to the side of the road. But that is not where things end.

The driver of the vehicle, seeing who has just pulled up behind them, decides to get out and make a run for it. He’s not sticking around to see how much this ticket is going to be. Maybe he didn’t have the money, had priors or had a warrant out for his arrest.

Every parent wants their children to get along with one another. While peace and harmony among siblings is the goal or dream, it’s very rarely, if ever, achieved, especially when the siblings are children. As every parent knows, there’s always something to argue and fight about when it comes to siblings. Why did they get this or that? It’s my turn to play with that toy! She won’t stop touching me! Mom, he’s looking at me! See, parenting is a lot of fun at times!

While these loud, agitated and argumentative states are, more or less, the norm when it comes to siblings, there are brief respites. There are special, infrequent moments when they are not fighting with one another. For instance, when all the children have gone down for their naps at the same time, or when one of them is still in the infancy stage.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man is seen holding his baby sister. The two siblings are not yelling and screaming at one another or arguing about whose turn it is to play with a particular toy, mainly because one of them cannot yet speak. But parents have to take the wins and the harmonious state between siblings whenever and wherever they can.

The child is then asked about how he feels about his little sister.

“What do you think of her?” the woman behind the camera asks the little guy. “Is she cute?”

“Yeah,” he innocently says.

He’s asked another question, and no one saw this reply coming.

“Do you love her?” the woman asks.

“I want Happy Meal,” the child says.

Who could blame him? Sometimes we all just want a Happy Meal.
