Everyone needs more laughter and smiles in their lives. It doesn’t matter if you’re the happiest, most fulfilled and content person on planet Earth, we can always use more reasons to laugh. There will never be a time when we reach a quota of laughter for the day. People always want to laugh. That’s the entire reason why people can make a living traveling around the country telling jokes.

Anywhere and everywhere is made instantly better when people are laughing and having a good time. Any place where individuals are overly serious and dour all the time is typically where joy and happiness are severely lacking. No one wants to be there. So why not add a little joy and happiness where possible? It will make the situation much better for everyone involved, guaranteed.

One teacher completely understands the importance of adding a little joy and happiness to her classroom, which is why she has what she calls “the joke of the day.” In a clip posted on YouTube, the young woman tells her students she has a joke about a potato. She confesses that this one “makes her laugh a lot.”

“What do you call fake potatoes?” she asks the class.

When it comes time for the children to try to guess the punchline, they give it their best shot, but they ultimately fail. They once again demonstrate how clever and witty they are with their answers, and some might argue that theirs is even better than the actual punchline.

Since none of them guessed correctly, she relented and told them the punchline: “An im-tater.”

Naturally, most children, especially when they are little, bond best with and become closest to their mother. When developing such deep bonds with someone, we tend to become fiercely protective of them. We are determined to do everything in our power to keep harm from befalling them. In a clip posted on social media, a young man did what he could to keep his grandmother when he believed she was potentially in danger, about to become the victim of a scam.

The video starts with a young man racing over on a scooter when he spots someone he doesn’t recognize at his grandmother’s house. He came over to investigate and quickly issued a hilarious threat.

“I said, you can sell that to me, but I’ll sell you a punch in the gut,” the child said to the man behind the camera.

After a quick back and forth, the man and viewers learn why the child threatened violence.

“’Cause you’re trying to mess with my granny,” the young man said.

As it turned out, the little guy’s granny was not in any danger; they were taking care of her bug problem. While this was the reason given for their presence, it’s clear that the boy wasn’t entirely convinced.

A little girl put her own spin on Creed’s “One Last Breath.” The youngster gave a cover performance, singing the beloved rock song from the early 2000s, and she did so in a most unusual way. Today, covers are a dime a dozen. If you thought, for whatever reason, that covers were going out of style and that they were an old, out-of-fashion tradition, you’d be badly mistaken. If anything, covers are more plentiful today than they have been in quite some time.

Musical covers are heard literally everywhere – Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and anywhere else music can be streamed. Additionally, musical covers account for 99.9 percent of what is heard on popular shows like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent. There are also thousands of videos on YouTube in which covers are performed. There’s no getting away from them.

While all of that is true, sadly, most covers are nothing more than carbon copies of the original. Who wants to hear a duplicate of the original song? If that is the case, everyone would be much better off listening to the original because it will, nine times out of 10, be better.

However, one young woman has hilariously found a way to make her cover stand out from many others. It doesn’t even have anything to do with how she sounds, but what she’s doing while performing. The child spins at a dizzying rate of speed as she belts out Creed’s “One Last Breath” in a video posted on social media. How she’s able to remain focused on the lyrics while going around in circles at a high rate of speed is anybody’s guess.

In a world in which cover after cover sounds the same, this young woman clearly knows how to stand out among the crowd.

Becoming a parent is a huge, massive and life-changing event. Nothing will ever be the same after welcoming a little one into your life and home. Yes, there will be some big adjustments that will need to be made, but it is one of, if not the biggest, blessings anyone can experience in this life.

While all children are an absolute blessing, being a parent comes with a whole host of responsibilities and obligations. Parents are charged with providing for that little one, taking care of and attending to their needs, whatever they might be. As every parent knows, children require a lot of attention. In the end, while it’s not depicted in the video, I’m guessing the child received attention first, and the dog came in a distant second place.

“I had a student come up to me, and she goes, ‘High five!’” the educator recalled. “And I said, ‘That’s two fingers.’  And she goes, ‘Roman numerals.’”

She also said that a teacher approached her desk after a lesson, excitedly stating that she had learned something. When asked specifically what she had learned, she answered that she had forgotten.

When working with children, you can never be sure what will come out of their mouths.

Babies, especially when they begin crawling and walking, tend to get into anything and everything. As all parents know, every item the child comes across instantly becomes a toy. Keeping the floor clean of unwanted and potentially hazardous debris, moving breakables to a safe, unreachable location and placing foam padding on corners are all a series of activities that have become known as baby proofing. 

All parents do it, and it’s the smart, responsible thing to do to keep your curious little one safe.
However, one clip hilariously captured a youngster showing that not even the best, most intricate and detailed baby-proofing job was enough to stop them. This child easily went through and discarded the materials intended to help protect a corner in the house.

The youngster easily picked off the foam padding from the corner and immediately started to help itself to a nice, well-earned snack. Why would the child want to ingest foam padding? Well, why not? Everything else it finds makes its way into its mouth, so why should the padding be any different?

Luckily, Mom spots the child trying to chow down on the padding and interrupts the little one’s snack time.

Is there anything children love more than playing? Perhaps ice cream, but despite how much they are into the cold, sweet treat, playing will always remain high on their list. Before she undergoes the spa's treatments, the little girl wants payment. She seems to think her time is valuable and doesn’t want to waste it answering pointless questions, even if they're from a customer.

However, the most hilarious part of the clip happens at the end, and it’s a result of the child’s honesty.

“What’s this smell like? It smells so good,” the woman behind the camera says. “What’s that smell?”

“The chemical water,” the little girl answers.

The two village children were playing traditional Lolorian games after coming home from school. They were very happy.

Since getting a helmet and pads for Christmas, Dayton had been determined to learn how to ride her bike without training wheels, practicing alongside her dad while her twin sister had already learned. Despite several falls, she stayed positive and encouraged herself the entire time. When Dayton finally realizes she’s gained control of the bike, she celebrates herself screaming YES YES I’M DOING IT with so much excitement, cheering herself on as her dad runs right beside her.

Today, phones are used for nearly everything. We look up the forecast, check the traffic on the interstate and use it to capture special events by using its cutting-edge camera to take pictures. I get it; it’s much faster and more convenient to text than to make a phone call.

Additionally, whether we know it or not, children are always listening and watching. Even if we don't see them, their little eyes and ears are open, taking in everything they see and hear. Act a certain way, and your child will imitate that motion or activity. Talk in a particular manner or say an unflattering or profane word; you'd better believe your child or grandchild will hear and repeat that language.

The customers who stop by the establishment grab something to drink and spend some time with the precious critters who live at the café. Many people have a strong liking and desire for caffeine. Some may even go so far as to call it an addiction. For those who live in St. Augustine, Florida, there can only be one place to pick up their drink of choice.  As the video shows, customers flock to the Capybara Café. While their drinks may be something special, I’m guessing most of the people have shown up hoping to spend some time with the cute and cuddly capybaras who live at the café.

“Capybara is the world’s largest rodent,” one of the café’s employees said. “They are native to South America. Basically, you can think about a guinea pig that got to be 100, 150 pounds.”

How adorable is that? Seriously, who wouldn’t want to chug down their caffeinated drink while hanging out with a capybara or two?

Most of the people who go on shows like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent are doing so that they can, hopefully, wow the judges and the studio audience with their musical abilities. That accurately describes something like 99 percent of those who audition. Some make the cut while others are sent home, sadly, with their dreams of hitting it big dashed.

If singing or playing an instrument is your thing, that’s great. Show the world what you can do. But not everyone is blessed with the ability to belt out the lyrics to “Livin’ on a Prayer” or “Defying Gravity.” There are, believe it or not, other talents, gifts and skills that human beings have been so graciously given. A clip posted on YouTube shows one young man who showed off and wowed the judges and everyone else with his talent for quickly solving mathematical equations.

The 2-year-old is joined on stage by his father, who asks each of the judges to provide them with either a one-digit or a two-digit number. After the judges supplied him with numbers, the little guy got to work and, in a matter of seconds, he had the correct answer.

To ensure he knew what he was doing and didn’t just stumble upon the right answer by mistake, the child worked out three different math problems on stage.

At just 2 years old, the little guy is already doing a higher level of math than many people much older than him can do. What a thoroughly impressive little guy!

A woman and her team of miniature horses work to lift spirits in hospitals. They visit patients in medical facilities to spread joy and happiness to those in the hospital. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to learn about this woman, her mini horses and their mission to put smiles on the faces of hospital patients.

Hospital visits are not, for the most part, joyful, celebratory outings. They usually begin because someone is sick or in pain and seeks to diagnose and then correct the issue. Similarly, visiting an individual in the hospital, while a courtesy and an excellent way to show someone how much you care, is not usually an occasion to commemorate and look back fondly upon later. Of course, a birth is the only exception to this rule. That is undoubtedly an instance when a visit to the hospital is joyful and a cause for celebration.

Because hospitals are for those who are sick and need medical attention, they are obviously not the most upbeat, lively and happening places in the world. They are usually very much the opposite, which is why one woman and her team of mini horses visit hospital patients. She and her adorable, four-legged friends work to comfort, lift their spirits and put smiles on their faces.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Victoria Nodiff-Netanel, the founder of the nonprofit Mini-Therapy Horses, and her team of miniature horses are spotted interacting with hospital patients and staff. The precious animals perform tricks and offer comfort, with one of the horses even playing the keyboard with its face.

“The tricks are really tools for the horses to connect with people, but it’s fun,” Victoria said.

As Victoria explains, her mission originally started with her visiting a veterans hospital to bring comfort and joy to those who had served in the military.

“My dad was a vet, and I just thought, I’d really like to help veterans,” she added.

What a wonderful, heartwarming mission!
