This Cat’s Adorable Morning Routine Will Make Your Day

This cat’s adorable morning routine will make your day. The sweet feline has a particular way, a process by which it starts every day, and it’s almost too cute. Watch the short but purr-fectly precious clip to see and hear how this cat prefers to begin every single day.

Cats and dogs are some of the best creatures on earth. That’s a statement that, even in these incredibly polarized and divisive times, is likely to get near 100 percent agreement. Who is going to say otherwise, and more importantly, how could you ever present a compelling argument to support the opposing viewpoint?

Now, the real challenge and debate begin when people try to decide which makes the better pet: a dog or a cat. Of course, this is likely to be a topic that has no answer. Most people are firmly in either one of the two camps, and no amount of discussion is likely to change their minds.

Regardless of how you feel about cats or dogs, animals are like humans in that they are creatures of habit. They also have habits and routines, and when those are disrupted, they can get a bit upset and act out. In a clip posted on YouTube, one man explains his four-legged friend’s morning routine, which is incredibly cute and endearing.

“She kneads on my stomach every morning, and she likes to do this in complete silence,” the adorable cat’s owner says.

He also adds how the feline will react if he attempts to talk to the animal or anyone else while it’s going through its morning routine.

“Every time I try to speak to her or somebody else, she’ll reach up with her paw and shush me,” he added. “She’s very vocal about wanting that time to be quiet.”

Anyone who has ever had a cat will completely understand and recognize this behavior.

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

Cat Loves Climbing — and Apparently Also Enjoys Stealing

This cat loves climbing, and apparently, also enjoys stealing. The feline, who has a fascination with getting to and being in elevated places, hilariously harbors more nefarious interests. Watch this short but hysterical clip to see how this cat combines two of its biggest interests.

Is there anyone who does not love animals? If there are, they probably won’t voice that opinion publicly. But seriously, how could you not love and appreciate those cute, furry and four-legged creatures? Most of them, especially dogs and cats, just want a little bit of love and attention. Do that, and you’ll have a friend for life.

Now, as you may know, when it comes to pets, many people divide themselves into one of two camps. People either consider themselves dog or cat people, and there is minimal, if any, crossover between them. Then, after selecting your camp, you must endlessly and loudly advocate for why one is better than the other, or something like that.

Those who prefer cats understand that felines are all different, but also alike in many ways. For instance, they cannot be told what to do because they are some of the strongest-willed creatures on Earth. They will only do what they want when they want. They are also some of the funniest creatures, with their own unique personalities.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a couple discovered that their cat, Percy, enjoyed climbing. So, to give the cat an extra thrill, they installed an obstacle course in their house. But after the cat reached higher, elevated areas in their home, they learned that their cat also had a penchant for thievery.  Any chance it got to swipe a hat, the cat would do it.

“Did we make a horrible mistake?” one of Percy’s owners hilariously asked.

To try to curtail Percy’s hat snatching, they got him one of his own, thinking that might help. Percy didn’t seem to be into wearing a hat.

“He’s like a little troll that hoards hats,” another of Percy’s owners said.

This Eating Challenge was Supposed to Be a Competition, but It was Anything but

This eating challenge was supposed to be a competition, but it was anything but. The woman created an event intended to show who was the quickest and most efficient eater between her and her golden retriever. Watch the short, but sweet and hilarious clip to see how the challenge went and who came out on top.

ESPN bills itself as being the worldwide leader in sports coverage. For 24 hours a day, seven days a week, that channel and its many others show nothing but sports-related content. Some may argue that having 24-hour channels of anything is a bad idea because then they stretch themselves to fill airtime. Anything and everything becomes a hotly debated topic and is eventually talked about to death.

While ESPN may say it is the worldwide leader in sports coverage, some may dispute that claim. I know I’ve personally seen billiards, poker, and other events that some would likely question as legitimate sports. Additionally, ESPN also broadcasts eating competitions, such as the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. Eating a hot dog is certainly not a sport. If that were the case, every American would be an athlete, and we know that is not true.

Anyway, a woman challenged her golden retriever to a food-eating contest, as the clip posted on YouTube shows. The pup was obviously eager and ready to go and even got a head start on the competition, gobbling up the first morsel set in front of it before it was go-time.

However, in the end, while it was a challenge, there was no competition. The dog came out on top easily and even helped her finish off some of her pieces of food. When it comes to animals and food, humans really don’t stand a chance. We are likely to lose every time.

Two Curious Fawns, One Very Alarmed Cat

The neighborhood I live in has many deer, and they are incredibly nonplussed by humans or our pets. One morning a couple fawns saw my cat Ganesha and bounced toward him to play...but he came running back to me yelling about how these big cats were in his yard.

Mini Goldendoodle Zoomies Along Plowed Path

My husband had just finished snow plowing a path through our backyard, something we always do after big snowstorms so our dog can run outside. Once he was done, our mini Goldendoodle, Barkley, took off running down the path. When Barkley reached a turn, he suddenly slid off into the deep snow and briefly disappeared, then popped right back up and kept running like nothing happened. The whole moment was lighthearted and funny, and Barkley was completely fine. Credit: Sheila Dioda

Squirrels Navigate Building Walls in Zhejiang, China

@Sōngshǔzhǔbāo shared a video showing squirrels climbing the walls of a building. In the video, two squirrels are already scaling the exterior walls, moving upward along the surface. A third squirrel is first seen climbing a nearby tree before leaping across and jumping onto the building wall, then following the other two as they continue climbing. The video captures the agile movements of the squirrels as they navigate the urban environment.
