This Golden Retriever had a hilarious reaction to its owner’s hugging. The pup made its feelings abundantly clear when the husband and wife showed each other some affection. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see the unexpected way the dog responded when its two owners shared a hug.

Animals, like people, are not the same. Each has its own unique personality, as every pet owner knows very well. Sure, some animals may look similar, but often how they respond to people, situations and environments can be as different as night and day. Anyone who says all dogs or all cats are the same is simply showing their ignorance and their inexperience with animals.

It's been said that dogs are man’s best friend, and in many cases, that has been proven again and again. How many stories have you seen or read where a dog enters a burning building to retrieve someone or something? Or what about articles about a pup who returned home years later? Those types of stories are all over the internet.

However, a clip posted on YouTube shows that one Golden Retriever has a favorite, a best friend, and it’s not the man of the household. Every time the woman hugs her husband, the dog barks loudly and wildly, even growling, clearly voicing its displeasure.  At one point, the dog goes over and attempts to physically separate the two, placing its head between them. 

Obviously, the dog is quite jealous and does not want her giving attention to anyone but it. While the dog may not mind the man of the house, the animal likely tolerates him. But it’s clear, from that short clip, that the animal prefers her, and it’s not even close.

As pet owners know, animals do seem to pick and gravitate toward one person, and this adorable Golden Retriever is no different.

These competitive pups turned playtime into a hysterical rivalry. What originally started as a good-natured, friendly, fun time quickly became heated, competitive and pretty hysterical. Competition is good because it brings out the best in everybody. Also, when there’s competition, everybody wins, especially the consumer. Both of those lines are extremely familiar because we’ve been fed them repeatedly, all of our lives. Most people likely don’t give them a second thought and accept them as the gospel truth, but are they true?

Every competition results in a winner and a loser. It doesn’t matter if it’s basketball, checkers, racquetball or even an election – someone, or one team, is going to win, and someone else, or another team, is going to lose. Many people tend to take things way too far, willing to do anything to win, even if it means cheating or bending the rules. Also, individuals can be poor winners and even worse losers – and all because they lost a meaningless game or match.

In a clip posted on YouTube, two dogs hilariously proved that competition does not always bring out the best in everyone. In fact, it can and very often bring about the worst in someone, causing them to act and react in ways they typically would not.

The two pups settle in to play a friendly competition. This is going to be a fun game between two pals, with the eventual winner and loser walking away amicably. They will shake hands and part ways, accepting the outcome of the competition. Sure, that sounds nice, but that is not what happens at all.

During the video game competition, things get heated quickly, with the two pups exchanging some of the most hilarious side-eyes you’ve ever seen. Both are willing to do whatever it takes to win, regardless of how it may damage or impact their friendship.

These pups demand their fair share of cheese. If they do not get a cheesy snack every once in a while, especially when someone else enjoys one, there will be repercussions. Cheese is, and likely will forever remain, hugely popular. Think about all the foods it’s included in – nachos, pizza, lasagna, several McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches, ravioli, cheeseburgers, macaroni and cheese and the classic, grilled cheese sandwiches. If there’s a way to include cheese in something, Americans will figure out how to do it.

With so many foods and dishes that feature cheese as a main ingredient, it might seem like everyone enjoys cheese. So, is there anyone who does not love cheese? Well, I know of one person: myself. And that’s not because I’m lactose intolerant or anything. Ever since I was a child, I’ve never liked cheese and have always avoided it as best as I can. However, I understand I’m in the minority when it comes to how people, and, as it turns out, animals feel about cheese.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman helps herself to a snack of string cheese. There’s nothing wrong with that, right? A little snacking here and there never hurt anyone, or could it?

Before she indulges in that cheesy snack, she goes to great lengths to make sure that her pups are unaware of what she is about to do. She did not want them to know she was about to consume some string cheese. 

Despite being extremely careful, it was not enough. The animals found out what she did and how she did not share with them, and they were not pleased. The pups expressed their displeasure in the most hilarious and unexpected way.

This musical pup played the iconic “Mission Impossible” theme song. The canine demonstrated its jaw-dropping talent for the drums by playing a tune that everyone, without a doubt, has heard a time or two. All pet owners love and adore their animals. In fact, when it comes to talking about most people who have pets, it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch to say that they are absolutely obsessed with them. There are basically no lengths some people will not go to for their cute, cuddly, furry four-legged friend. Don’t believe me? Just check social media, and you’ll quickly discover what I’m talking about.

Now, every pet owner believes their furry friend is “special” and “one-of-a-kind.” In our hearts and eyes, they are special and deserve the world, right? While that may be true, I’d be willing to bet that not many of those pets can play a musical instrument. I’d go so far as to say that 99.9 percent of those special animals have been gifted with the ability to play the guitar or sing a single note.

However, we have just encountered a pup who is truly one-of-a-kind, with an ability that likely no other dog can do: play the drums. Yes, you read that correctly, this dog can bang around on the drums, and not only that, but it has also even helped in playing one of the most recognizable and iconic tunes of all time.

In a clip posted on social media, the pup, with a stick in its mouth, pounds a cymbal while its paw operates a pedal, which makes it bang on a drum.  This is such a cute and, at the same time, hysterical display.

If this dog can play the drums, there is no reason why our pets should be sleeping all the time. They could be using some of that time to learn a skill like playing the trombone or the tuba.

Animals are, without a doubt, some of the best creatures you’ll encounter on Earth. Animals make life a fuller, richer and all-around better experience. Most are incredibly friendly, gentle and loyal to a fault. Honestly, is there anyone who can say with a straight face that they do not love and adore those furry, four-legged critters?

Now, while nearly everyone loves animals, the real division happens when dog and cat people get to talking. Both will passionately make the case for why their preferred animal is superior, and the one is just a little inferior when compared to the other. Is one really better than the other? I think we can all agree they are both different, for sure.

One way cats and dogs differ is in the amount of attention each craves. Typically, cats do their own thing and will come around and seek attention when it’s convenient for them. Dogs, on the other hand, want attention constantly, and if you don’t give it to them, they will try their darndest to get it. In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman found out just how badly her Golden Retriever wanted her to pay attention to it.

She wanted to find out what would happen if she deliberately ignored her pup. Hilariously, the dog refused to give up and was determined to get the attention it so badly wanted. The animal was dogged in its efforts.

Eventually, she could only ignore the canine for about a minute and a half.  Anyone who has or has ever had a dog understands that’s longer than expected. As soon as you walk through the door, most pups are jumping and clamoring for your attention.

While some people may overlook them when thinking of the many ways in which their lives have been blessed, animals most certainly belong in that category. Our pets are enormous blessings, and for a lot of people, it’s hard to imagine doing life without them. We should be thankful for the animals in our lives.

Our pets are some of the best friends we’ll ever have in this life. For starters, they are tremendously loyal, always there, whether you’ve had a good day or one you’d rather forget. They do not care who you are as long as you treat them right, and if you do, you’ve got yourself a friend for life. Of course, as everyone knows, all of this is especially true, particularly when you’re talking about dogs. They are, after all, referred to as man’s best friend for a reason.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman goes through the top five reasons why she is so grateful to be a “dog parent.” Each of the scenarios the video points out is one that everyone who has ever had a dog understands and has experienced.

As mentioned in the laugh-out-loud clip, when you have a pet, especially a dog, an alarm clock becomes irrelevant. A dog will quickly acclimate to your morning routine and know when you need to be awake. They will even provide their assistance, even if it’s not needed.

Also, they are always ready and willing to do something, anything with you. They don’t care about the activity, as long as they get to do it with you.

Dog owners also know that they make decent vacuum cleaners, willing to suck up any food that happens to land on your floor.

How could you not love dogs?

These pups delivered a convincing and hysterical presentation. They had a message to convey and an argument to make, and decided the best way to accomplish those goals was through the use of PowerPoint. We live in a very polarizing and divisive time. It’s nearly impossible to get people to agree on any subject, no matter how insignificant or meaningless. You could have someone ask people whether dogs with spots are better than dogs with stripes, and 50 people would say “yes” and 50 would say “no.” Then, the situation would quickly dissolve into a shouting match, with people calling one another horrible names.

People can’t even agree on what’s a fact anymore. They all have their own 24-hour “news” channel, which they desperately rely on to tell them what’s a fact and how to think about this or that subject. It’s hard to rationally discuss a topic in that kind of contentious, hostile environment. But there are still people who try, and, as it turns out, even some animals.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a couple of pups believe that baths should be outright banned. They do not like them and no longer want to take them, so they have crafted a presentation to try to sway others to their side and see their point of view.

This is a challenging argument to make, but the dogs are clearly determined to make it. They raised several points during their presentation. However, the validity and relevancy of many of them could easily be called into question. But then again, that goes along perfectly with the current state of discourse in our country.

In the end, the pups do accomplish their goal. Baths are now banned, and they will no longer be subjected to them. They can now live their bathless, and much more smelly lives.

In society today, it seems there is nothing we can agree on. Even the simplest, most mundane and boring subject always devolves into a shouting match, with everyone passionately expressing their deeply held opinions. Thanks to social media, we now know that everyone has thoughts and opinions on every subject imaginable. How did we ever survive before we knew our second cousin twice removed’s thoughts on this or that subject?

While agreement on most things is nearly impossible, we can all agree (for the most part) that animals are fantastic. Is there really anyone who does not think animals are some of the greatest things imaginable? If you’re not convinced how much people think of their pets, you simply haven't been watching closely enough. Some people will actually push their animals in a stroller while their child walks.

In a hilarious, laugh-out-loud clip, a French bulldog pup is captured being pampered. Its owner is actually giving the dog a foot rub. A lot of animals are lucky if they get any attention at all, and this guy is getting its feet attended to.

But does the dog show any appreciation for the kind of high-level pampering it’s receiving? If you know animals at all, you already know the answer to that question. Instead of acting grateful, the dog demands even more.

When its owner stops rubbing its feet, the spoiled dog stretches out and smashes a button, which emits a recording that says, “Foot rub now.” The animal continues to slam the pink button until the foot massages continue.

It just goes to show that if you give a dog an inch, they will take a mile, or in this case, a nice foot rub.

As you’ve probably heard, everyone is a critic. Yes, it is a well-known, tired, old saying, and, at this point, it can probably be considered a cliché, but it’s undoubtedly accurate. Everybody has an opinion on everything. If you don’t believe me, ask them, and they will be more than happy to tell you what they think.

As with most things that have gotten worse in society over the last decade or so, this, too, can be blamed on social media. Popular social media platforms give people a spot to express their opinions on anything and everything. It doesn’t matter what the subject or topic is; if you’ve got a thought or take, regardless of how outlandish or wrong, you can post it on social media for all to see.

Well, as it turns out, this uncontrollable urge to express every thought that pops into our heads to others, even if they don’t want to hear it, has spread to members of the animal community as well. A hilarious clip posted on YouTube captured the honest, hysterical opinions of two dogs about their owner’s musical performance. Spoiler alert: they are not fans.

The clip begins with the woman spotting a delivery driver approaching her front door to drop off a package. However, knowing that her dogs, if they were to spot this individual, are likely to react in a rather loud and boisterous manner. So, she does what she can to distract them and puts on a dance and musical number.

The looks the pups give one another are almost too much to take. They give each other a side-eye, and you know precisely what they are communicating to one another: “What is this crazy woman doing?”

Tammy is our pet Kune Kune pig and loves to come inside in the evenings for family cuddles. I guess the piggy squeak toys for dogs are legit sounds that a pig makes. I can’t believe how much they sound alike.

When our snowblower broke during the blizzard, our neighbor generously offered to lend us theirs. As my boyfriend picked it up, their dog Jake followed along and happily chased and played in the stream of flying snow the entire time.
