A Prayer When Your Daily Routine Feels Meaningless | Your Daily Prayer

Repetitive responsibilities and unnoticed work can leave believers wondering whether their daily lives truly matter. This prayer encourages us to recognize God’s presence in ordinary moments and faithfully offer every task to Him as an act of worship.

A Group of New Yorkers Exchange Greeting Cards in Sweet Chance Meeting

Check out this scene where New Yorkers exchange greeting cards in the middle of the sidewalk. It’s so heartwarming! And it is a great reminder of people coming together and looking out for one another, even in the midst of the busy streets of New York City.

The video recently went viral on Instagram after a Walgreens went out of business and dumped bags of unsold greeting cards onto the sidewalk outside. That’s when a group of women came upon the trashed cards and started sorting through them together.

They all began to organize the cards and distribute them amongst themselves. The women happily helped each other find wedding, birthday, get well, and religious cards for each other, working together to help each other with their specific needs. What a beautiful act of kindness!

“Shower? Anyone want a wedding shower?” says one of the women in the group.

“Anything with faith and Jesus and God, I’ll take,” says another woman.

“If you see ‘Happy Birthday,’ pass it to me,” states someone else.

What Happens When People Help Each Other

Everyone had their own specific desires for what cards they would like, and the whole group worked together to help each other out. No one had to do it; they genuinely wanted to. And it’s clear to see why this video, where New Yorkers exchange greeting cards, went viral and made people on the internet smile.

“We’re really getting to know each other,” says one woman as the cards are getting passed around on the sidewalk.

“Love is a beautiful thing,” responds someone else.

How wonderful it is to look out for what each other needs. And what a great reminder for how small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s day.

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Stranger Saves Paralyzed Dog Found Trapped in a Ravine after Fireworks Scared Him

It never gets old to see a random act of kindness. Check out this incredible rescue! A stranger saves a paralyzed dog found trapped in a ravine after fireworks scared him.

In this news report, we see a young mom standing in her driveway, ready to help find a lost pet. A reporter is standing there next to Amelia Brettenbach. This stranger saves a paralyzed dog. The drone is utilized by Amelia to help discover missing animals with AI, night vision, and to see from angles that are challenging.

There is then a portion from a social media post that reads about the thankfulness of the owner of Gandalf the dog. This German Shepherd is paralyzed in his hind legs. During the Fourth of July fireworks, Gandalf escaped in fear and went missing. Amelia stepped in to help with her drone. The mother of three children shares how she saw some heat spots on the drone camera, but could not tell what it was until they looked to discover Gandalf the dog. The sweet pup was found hiding in the leaves on the ground, afraid.

Amelia Explains Her Volunteer Outreach

Amelia goes on to share how she does this for hundreds of people for free. This is her volunteer outreach to help others. Some families donate batteries for her drone. She is even called upon by the police and local rescue teams. They go on to recap a time when cows were lost on the interstate. Amelia kept a close eye on the cows. Another time, there was a carjacking with a dog named Lucky. She drove all the way to North Carolina from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to help find the dog. This is a woman on a mission, and she is helping so many be reunited with their precious pets.

As you witness this stranger saving a paralyzed dog, be encouraged. Scripture tells us to care for the earth and have dominion over the animals within it. God has gifted Amelia with the ability to care for animals and ultimately their owners in a unique way. May this video inspire you to use your time and skills to bless others, too.

NYPD Officers Rescue Eleven Ducklings From Storm Drain At Police Academy

It is always precious to see little ducklings. Check out this video as NYPD officers rescue eleven ducklings from a storm drain at the police academy.

At the start of this video, we see young officers in the police academy putting their training into practice. Watch as NYPD Officers Rescue Eleven Ducklings. They are gathered around a drain and hearing tiny peeps from ducklings. The team removes the drain cover so that they will be able to descend and help remove the animals from peril.

A female officer begins to slowly descend into the hole. You see as she passes one baby duck at a time out of the drain. She counts each one as she passes it to her teammates. The precious babies then waddle around, and you see them with their mother. The officer calls out to the mama duck, “I have two more mom, don’t leave yet.” She discovers two more adorable baby ducklings.

How Small Things Can Make a Big Difference

Watch as NYPD Officers Rescue Eleven Ducklings. You will then see the mother duck walking on the sidewalk with the adorable parade of eleven rescued ducklings who are happily waddling behind their mother. The police officers in training did a great job, and this might just be the cutest rescue of their careers. You can hear the students giggling in the background with delight as the animals toddle around together with glee.

Witnessing this rescue reminds us that even the seemingly small things that we do can make a big difference. These officers noticed a need, and they met it. They did not ignore them because they are just baby ducks. When we look around our own lives, may this act inspire us to see those around us and take the opportunities that seem mundane or insignificant and glorify God with them. He can use the smallest moments for spiritual victories.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

Praying Through Psalm 13: How Waiting Ripens Our Faith

What happens when our prayers go unanswered and it feels like God has completely hidden His face from us?

In this episode of the Praying Christian Women podcast, Jaime takes us through a short but incredibly powerful journey into Psalm 13. King David’s desperate cry of "How long, O Lord?" is a heavy question that almost every believer can relate to during seasons of prolonged waiting, silence, or overwhelming trials.

Jaime highlights a profound quote from Charles Spurgeon—"A hidden face is no sign of a forgetful heart"—and discusses the importance of venting our raw frustrations to God. She reminds us that it is entirely biblical to be honest with the Lord about our pain, fear, and impatience when the things we are praying for seem to be getting worse instead of better.

Then, she unpacks the powerful "But..." at the end of the psalm. By diving into the Hebrew lexicon for the word "bountifully" (Gamal), Jaime reveals a beautiful, paradigm-shifting perspective on our waiting seasons. Could the very trials we are begging God to remove actually be the tools He is using to ripen our faith, or to wean us from our dependence on worldly comfort?

Whether you are in a painful season of spiritual drought, feeling distant from the Lord, or simply need a reminder of His constant faithfulness, we hope this prayerful episode encourages you to hold on, look for the purpose in your waiting, and choose to rejoice in His salvation!

Christian Miracle Story for Anyone Needing Hope

Brad Willey has an incredible Christian miracle story for anyone needing hope today. His story shows how God’s hand was in his life after a crazy near-death experience. Watch the video to hear him share his amazing testimony.

Brad was trapped in a small room on the side of a mountain when a landslide occurred, and he became trapped underwater. Somehow, beyond his recollection, he came through a roof escape hatch. He says he didn’t even know it was there.

“It felt like God reached and pulled me out,” Brad explained. He was under the water for three minutes. He could only think about how scared he was of going to hell and begged God to save him.

God Was Not Done Saving Him

For the next six months, he carried a Bible around with him but never opened it. He got into a bad relationship and fell into drugs. After three years, he quit that lifestyle. He got a new job and prayed and asked God to send someone to tell him about him if he really does exist.

That day, he heard God’s voice. He turned around and told a person next to him, a stranger, and told him, “If you know Jesus, you need to tell me.” The man started bawling because God had been telling him to go to one more town, to tell one more person. And so he shared the gospel with Brad.

From then on, his life really changed for good. He started to listen to Christian speakers and attend church. Now, he says his reasons for living are to “share Jesus Christ and love my family.”

It is so inspiring to hear stories like Brad’s. He could have died, but God saved him. His journey back to God wasn’t quick or easy, but eventually Brad found out what it’s like to truly know Him. And now, he’s never turning back.

Kate Middleton Shares Unique Way She Relaxed During Cancer Treatment

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton shares a unique way she relaxed during cancer treatment, and it’s not something you’d think about a princess doing. The princess found that using colors to draw pictures brought her peace in the midst of discomfort. Watch the video to see the joy on Kate’s face as she recalls the experience.

"I didn't have the ability to read or do anything,” Kate shared with other cancer patients. “Coloring was my way of exploring interesting things and be able to do something that did not require an end product, just a way of playing and losing yourself.”

Kate was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer in 2024, after a planned abdominal surgery. She went into remission in 2025.

“At the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous,” Kate Middleton said during cancer treatment in 2024. “The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.”

What Kate Middleton Is Up to Now

Last year, she expressed that while she’s in remission, she is still focused on recovery, as it takes time for the body to adjust after chemotherapy. She also thanked everyone who supported her in her cancer journey.

On her recent visit with cancer patients, Kate, a mother of three young kids, also comforted a young mother who is going through treatment.

She said, “Meeting patients, families, and staff was a powerful reminder that healing is about so much more than treatment alone. A cancer diagnosis affects every part of life, in mind, body, and the deeper part of ourselves. The way we process fear, uncertainty, and change is deeply personal. Thank you for sharing your stories with me, and for the compassion, creativity, and dedication shown every day across the hospital."

It’s surely reassuring for UK cancer patients to see that their princess went through the same struggles they’re going through. She’s not a thing on a pedestal—but a person, just like them.

Here's a little peek into rehearsals as we reworked and reimagined this gem. hoping to add it to the setlist when I can get back out on the road.”

Football Player Asks Cheerleader with Down Syndrome to Homecoming

It is not every day that a young person looks outside of their world to those who might be forgotten. This video reminds us of the kindness that can go a long way in friendship. Watch as this football player asks a cheerleader with Down syndrome to homecoming.

At the start of this clip, you see a precious young woman with Down syndrome who is on the field with her cheerleading squad. She is very caught off guard as a young man in a number 33 football uniform walks over with a poster and flowers. The poster reads, “Cheer me up & go to HOCO with me.”

The young woman is emotional. She goes to get the flowers and hugs him, and turns her face toward the crowd. You see such a big smile on her face, and everyone cheers. You see someone put a tiara on the flower bouquet. Then, there is a photo of the two of them, and she has the tiara on, flowers in hand, and a football player by her side. It is a young woman’s dream.

That’s Not the End of the Story

Suddenly, there is a fast-forward moment of this girl, all dolled up with her hair done and a gorgeous maroon dress on. She walks through her house and sees her date for the homecoming. It is emotional watching her run to him because she is so thrilled. She gives him a big hug. The two are seen standing together for a photo with another boy, and then they are shown out to dinner.

Seeing how this boy cared for and encouraged this girl is inspiring. She may not have typically been a person who would be seen and chosen. His notice and kindness towards her are a motivation to us in our lives. We can look around at people who may not be recognized or seen and show the love of Christ to them.

“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:4
