Singer Danny Gokey And Team Surprise Charitable Organization With New Van

Former American Idol contestant and worship singer Danny Gokey and his team surprise a charitable organization with a new van and other gifts, and it is such a blessing. His generosity is surely much appreciated. Watch the video to see the gift.

The organization, called Clothed by Faith, collects and donates clothing, essential items, and shoes for children and adults in need. In addition to a brand new cargo van with a shiny red bow, Danny and his team also created an Amazon wishlist for the organization, which many people contributed to.

Danny was able to bring them hundreds of items that people had ordered for them.

“It felt like Christmas all over again, having all the volunteers and my ministry team helping open all

these gifts!” Danny said. And “to say they were ecstatic [about the van] would be an understatement!”

The Power of Blessing Others

After Danny gifted them the van, he and his team prayed with the non-profit that the vehicle would help them in their mission as they bless family after family. Clothed by Faith started after Abi Fourie, a daughter from an immigrant family, felt called to help others. She grew up in poverty and wanted to help others who had similar experiences.

In the video, Danny uses his song, “I Got You," as a background message. Some of the song’s lyrics are:

In the joy, in the pain, in the waiting (In the waiting)

In the flood, in the fire, in the breaking (Oh)

I'm standing on You (Standing on You), so I won't be moved (I won't be moved)

Yeah, I'll get through, 'cause I got You (You)

It is so wonderful that Danny is able to bless another ministry like this. He shares the Gospel and sings the Gospel and always shares hope with others. It is great that he’s assisting people practically, too. We know the ministry appreciates it, and the people that they help do too.

Two Teenagers Use Kindness To Make A Difference in The World

There are two teenagers who used kindness to make a difference in the world, and it’s a wonderful thing. These two boys have beautiful hearts. Watch the video to see their love for others.

The two boys, best friends James Jansen and Krish Reddy, have been involved in a nonprofit, Kids for Peace, since they were little, just 8 years old. They’re now 15 and have known each other since they were in pre-K. They do everything together—including spreading love and kindness.

They’re leaders in the organization, which partners with children in many countries, to make the world a better place.

It is so sweet to see two teen boys working hard to make a difference. They aren’t out sitting at home, addicted to their phones, or smoking things they shouldn't—they are making a difference in people’s lives. They spend their afternoons with senior citizens, making kindness posters and fundraising to build schools in places like Kenya.

What Drives Them to Make a Difference

"We're all connected, and at the end of the day, all of us are living in the same world, and we all need each other,” Krish said.

James said, "It doesn't have to be a grand gesture every time, when I really think, it's the small things that will end up making a difference in the world.”

The boys lead a back-to-school drive for the students at the school in Kenya, which they plan to visit soon. Kids for Peace also helped achieve the Guinness World Record for the biggest collage of handprints. It also recognizes companies that foster kindness and make positive differences in the world.

It is an incredible thing that these boys and other kids would choose to spend their time helping others. If more parents helped get their children involved in things like this, then maybe the world would be a better place.

A Prayer for Courage to Share What God Has Done

Could your story of God’s faithfulness become someone else’s encouragement?

Psalm 40:3 describes God putting a new song of praise in our mouths so that others may see, hear, and place their trust in Him.

In today’s Your Daily Prayer, Cally Logan reflects on personal testimonies as precious “pearls”—stories of provision, redemption, healing, and faithfulness that may one day help someone walking through a similar season.

Your testimony doesn’t have to be dramatic to matter. Sometimes simply saying, “Here’s how God met me,” can give another person hope.

When Healing Hasn't Come, Pray This Tonight

What do you pray when you've asked God for healing but your body—or the body of someone you love—is still hurting?

In this Your Nightly Prayer, Rachel Wojo reflects on Jeremiah 17:14 and the difficult reality of long-term illness and caregiving. Prayer for healing is not a bargaining tool or a guarantee that healing will happen according to our timing. It is an act of trust in the God who created our bodies and continues to care about our suffering.

If you're tired of managing symptoms, appointments, medications, or the needs of someone you love, bring that weariness to God tonight.

The Healer still heals. The Savior still saves.

A Prayer to Remember God Is in the Great Outdoors | Your Daily Prayer

Can Christians worship God outside a church building?

Absolutely. Scripture teaches that God is not confined to a structure, and many people find that time in nature helps them slow down, pray, worship, and notice the beauty of creation.

In today’s Your Daily Prayer, Lia Girard reflects on Jesus’ outdoor ministry, Acts 17:24, and the ways creation can stir awe for the Creator.

This devotional is not about replacing Christian community or gathered worship. It is about remembering that God can be worshiped anywhere—on a trail, beside the water, under a tree, in a sanctuary, or in the middle of ordinary life.

A Prayer for Quiet Trust in God | Your Daily Prayer

Does God's silence ever make you wonder whether He's listening?

Isaiah 18:4 gives us an unusual picture of God remaining quiet while still watching. In today's Your Daily Prayer, Whitney Hopler reflects on how Christians can continue trusting God's character when answers aren't immediate and His work isn't obvious.

God's quietness should not automatically be mistaken for His absence. Pray today for a faith that continues trusting Him even when you don't understand what He's doing.

Praying Through Psalm 20: Our Secret Weapon To Defeat the Enemy

What happens when we stop praying small, safe prayers and start stepping into our true authority in spiritual warfare?

In this episode of the Praying Christian Women podcast, Jaime leads us through the short but incredibly powerful Psalm 20. While it reads as a beautiful prayer for deliverance, Jaime highlights that it’s actually a bold declaration of the victory that is already ours. She reminds us that we don't have to fight for our spiritual territory; because of Jesus, we are simply claiming the ground He has already won!

Jaime also unpacks a fascinating historical detail about the "Helmet of Salvation" from Ephesians 6. Did you know ancient Roman helmets featured a feathered crest or plume (called a Crista) used both to declare their identity and to intimidate their enemies? She explains how our salvation acts as a spiritual plume—declaring our absolute identity in Christ and terrifying the forces of darkness before the battle even begins.

Whether you are feeling powerless against a specific struggle, tempted to boast in your own human strength, or simply need a reminder to pray boldly for the people you love, we hope this episode encourages you to put on your helmet, silence the enemy's lies, and boast in the name of the Lord!

A Prayer to Recommit Your Marriage | Your Daily Prayer

What would change in your marriage if you chose humility before blame?

In today's Your Daily Prayer, Laura Bailey shares advice from her grandmother that stayed with her: recommit to your marriage every day.

Reflecting on Romans 12:3 and the humility of Christ, this devotional encourages married couples to assume the best, serve one another, communicate honestly, seek forgiveness, and choose love in ordinary moments.

This isn't about ignoring serious harm or pretending every marriage problem is small. It's about asking God to shape the way we love, speak, serve, and respond within a healthy marriage.

A Prayer for When You Need God to Guard Your Words

Have you ever said something in anger, frustration, or gossip and immediately wished you could take it back?

Psalm 141:3 records David's prayer: “Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.”

In today's Your Daily Prayer, Whitney Hopler reflects on why wise speech starts deeper than simply choosing better words. Our speech often reveals what's happening in our hearts.

This prayer asks the Holy Spirit for self-control, discernment, kindness, and wisdom before we speak, text, comment, or respond.
